As Modest Mussorgsky composed "Pictures at an Exhibition" in 1874, this CD features lyrics and music inspired by 11 paintings mainly from the 19th century. These paintings with pale tones, grey skies and snow are echoing the music tinted with a melancholy. Acoustic instruments, such as cello and violin, are blended with electric and bass guitars and the ethereal vocals of Chloe.
